About Us
Savannah's Helping Hands is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children. Our mission is to add joy to a child's life by giving with Love. In 2020, Carlia Marie Ray founded our organization as a tribute to her grandmother (mother), Mrs. Savannah Carter Walker. Ms. Savannah was a true example of kindness, compassion, and generosity. She was a woman with an incredible spirit and a heart for giving. The mother of 14 children, she reared seven grandchildren, including Carlia, her sister Charlene, and one great-grandchild, and still found a way to give back to her community.
We aim to carry on Ms. Savannah's legend and positively impact the world by providing underprivileged children with clothes, shoes, toys, school supplies, and scholarships. These essential items have the power to change a child's life. We believe everyone deserves a helping hand and are committed to doing our part to make that a reality.

Empowering Communities
This Christmas, Savannah's Helping Hands made a heartwarming impact on the lives of children and the elderly. With generous donations of clothes, shoes, toys, and fruit baskets, we brought joy and comfort to 120 individuals across Atlanta, Barnesville, Butler, Macon, Roberta, Thomaston, and Zebulon including those at the Butler, GA nursing home.
